- I've been involved in the fire service since 1998 in the Eastern Connecticut area. I started my time as a volunteer with Station 95 in the Plainfield Fire District. Throughout my time over on Norwich Road, I served as a company president and also a Lieutenant. I was an active member as a fire fighter & EMT there until January of 2007. Currently I am a Villain over on Black Hill Road with Station 97 in the Central Village District. All though the department is much smaller than my previous, the quantity/quality of training and the "brotherhood" that exists in the Village is worth having some down time.
